Incorporated in 1929, Northern Investment Company was founded by Lester and Anton Senty. The company's main focus was much as it is today, the clerking and managing of auctions, the real estate brokerage business, and the offering of consumer and agricultural-based loans.
In 1994, an ownership change put Richard J. and J. Michael Warner in control of NIC. Since then, a progressive approach has been established evidenced by the 1996 acquisition of Real Estate - Weiss & Associates of Durand, WI., to be known as NIC - Weiss & Associates. In 2005, NIC - Weiss & Associates was sold. In 1998, NIC purchased Hometown Realty and Auction Service, of Arcadia, WI, which is now known as NIC - Hometown Realty.

Northern Investment Company employs over 20 associates in three offices located in Independence, Mondovi, and Arcadia. Our ever-expanding service area now encompasses over 12 counties in West Central Wisconsin.
